This hints page was generated using the HintOla utility. To generate the page, a "raw" hints file was written, and then run through the tool, producing the page you are reading.
The raw hints file is a simple text file, where each line of text begins with either .t, .s, .q, or .a. There should be only one line beginning with .t. Text on this line will be used as the title of the page. Lines starting with .s are section headings. The heading for the section you are reading now is "Raw Hints File". Lines beginning with .q are the questions, and lines beginning with .a are the answers. Answer text is "hidden" in colored boxes. Blank lines in the raw input file are ignored. The following is an example of a question followed by two hints:
How do I open the safe?
| Hint 1: | The safe is secured with a padlock, so you'll need to find the key. |
|---|
| Hint 2: |
|---|
You should be able to see the "invisible" text by moving the mouse over the hint box. Some browsers my require that you select the area by clicking and dragging the mouse across the colored box. In an emergency, "view source".
You can include HTML tags in the raw text file. For example, here is a link to the Flavorplex Text Adventure Company.
We hope you find HintOla useful. If you should find any bugs, please report them to bugs@flavorplex.com.
